Timber Road II Wind Farm is located near the town of Payne in the townships of Harrison, Paulding, Benton and Blue Creek in Ohio. The wind farm, consists of 55 Vestas V90 1.8 MW turbines, and has a total installed capacity of approximately 99 megawatts (MW) - enough to power over 27,000 average Ohio homes with clean energy each year. In 2010, Horizon and AEP Ohio, a unit of American Electric Power, signed a 20-year contract to purchase the power and renewable energy attributes from the wind farm.
